Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.
Division of Gastroentero-Hepatology, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of
Medicine, Hasanuddin University would like to invite you to SUDEMMA (Surabaya,
Denpasar, Malang, Makassar); an annual scientific event of Gastroentero-Hepatology in
Eastern Indonesia. The advance development of science and technology in the field of
gastrointestinal and hepatology has led to numerous researches which has discovered
new insights, from pathogenesis to the application of clinical therapy. This brings updated
knowledge of pathomechanism, diagnosis and treatment based on evidence.
The theme of this year event is exploring the latest guidelines of gastrointestinal and
hepatology diseases, both national and international issued by the Executive Board of the
Indonesian Liver Research Association (PPHI), the Indonesian Gastroenterology
Association (PGI), as well as the guideline from International Gastroentero-Hepatology
Association. This event consists of several symposiums and workshops that will be
presented by the experts in their fields, as well as scientific research competitions. This
scientific event is a continuing medical education program aimed at doctors and
paramedics who are willing to improve their knowledge in gastrointestinal and
hepatobiliary cases.

Participants
Medical students, general practitioners, residents, and specialists who has
registered as Participant of Makassar Gastroentero-Hepatology Update 2022.
Requirements
Please submit your researchcase report abstract in the field of
gastroenterology-hepatology. Please send your abstract to the committee via
email : magehap@gmail.com no later than 28 February 2022
Abstract Format
- Maximum length for the abstract is 300 words, in Times New Roman font,
11 pt, single-spaced
- Abstract must be written in English
- For original article, abstract should include: Background, Methods, Results,
and Conclusion
- For case reports, abstract should include: Background, Case Description,
and Conclusion
- Participants are allowed to submit more than one abstract
- Participants whose abstract is selected by the judges, have to submit their
Poster & Oral Presentation, no later than February 28, 2022
- Certificate will only be given for presenter
- Posters will be displayed at SUDEMMA - MAGEHup 2022
- Winners and prizes will be announced at the closing ceremony
- The best ten abstracts will get free registration (the registration fee will be
refunded)
