WORK ACCOMPLISHMENT

I, Matt Jimuel R. Quililan, a SPES beneficiary, had conformed and completed the
required 20 days of work. In which, we were tasked to plant vegetables in our
homes. I planted several seeds of pechay, and onion springs in our homes. I used
seedling pots and any old recyclable objects in storing the plants as this is one
way of turning plastic waste into use. The plants have been seperated according
to type. The plants receive the proper amount of sunlight and I water them at
least once a day since it’s the recommended amount I’ve researched. It is
essential to consider home gardening especially in this time of pandemic to save
money on fruits and vegetables. It’s also better we can plant seeds for something
that we can actually eat. During my experience in the 20 days of work, I’ve
realized how important planting is and it really helped me. This type of hobby has
been very exciting and relaxing. For me, digging the dirt and watching the plants
grow was all worth it and gave me a feeling of reward and happiness.
