Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate

and commemorate 75 years of progressive Independent India. Through Azadi
Mahotsav India is celebrating the glorious history of its people, culture and
achievements. The official journey of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” was started
on 12.3.22 from Sambarmati Ashram when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi
flagged off a 75-week-long festival to commemorate 75 years of India’s
Independence.

To contribute to the happiness, Meridian School, Madhapur will begin its

celebration from 13.8.22 to 15.8.22. School is organising 5 K RUN on 2nd
Saturday, 13th August 2022 from Meridian School premises to Malkamcheru
with an agenda called SAVE SOIL for the future. To support the initiative of
Sadguru, Meridianites are also contributing by spreading awareness.

Parents are also invited to participate in the celebration. Students from grades IX
to XII are expected to be dropped by the parents in the school premises by 5:30
am. Students from VI to VIII shall give names to their respective class teachers if
they are willing to be a part of this event.

Participants will board the bus from Malkamcheru at 8:30 am to return back to
the school. From school, transport will be provided for those availing the same.
Own tranport students can be picked up by 9:30 from the school.
