Fourth Grade Supply List
2022-2023

**Please send your child to school with supplies in a plastic bag with their name on the
outside**

Each student should bring the following classroom supplies for their OWN use and labeled with
Name:
● 10 Black Marble Wide Ruled Composition Notebooks (Need on First Day)
● 2 packs of Wide ruled binder paper. Students may put 1 pack of paper in their 1 ½ inch
binder. During the second half of the school year students will transition to college ruled
binder paper.
● 1 -1 ½ inch 3 Ring Binder (No Larger Please)
● 1 pack of Dividers with pockets (8-10 dividers in each pack)
● 2 Folders no prongs( 1 Plain Red and 1 Plain Black )
● 1 white clear 12 inch Ruler
● 1 Protractor
● 2 white erasers
● 2 red pens, 1 green or purple pen used for revising and editing writing
● 4-6 black or blue ballpoint erasable pens (No gel pens)
● 2-3 Expo dry erase markers (preferably black, blue, dark green, purple, red, or any dark
color)
● 2 highlighters ( 1 yellow highlighter and 1 pink highlighter)
● 1 pair of child safety scissors
● 1 zipper pencil case
● 2 reams of white copy paper
● 1 pair of headphones (Must have all year, please put your child’s name on the headphones)
● $10 for Homework Planner-Provided at school
● Earthquake Emergency Kit (see the Parent Handbook) Need on the First Day
● Any chapter book of student choice for independent reading
 Each student should bring the following art supplies labeled with their name:
● 1 box of 24 crayons or 1 box of 12-24 colored pencils
● 1 box of 10-12 thick and thin colored markers
● 1 pack of watercolors
● 3-4 glue sticks
● 1 bottle of liquid school glue
● An old T -shirt or apron used for art class. (Please write your child’s name. This will be kept
in the classroom)

Supplies to be shared with the classroom community:

● 2 packages of #2 Ticonderoga Pencils (no mechanical pencils) for Math
● 2 packages of 3x5 ruled index cards
● 2 boxes of Kleenex
● 2 packs of antibacterial disinfecting wipes
● 2 containers of Clorox Wipes
● 2 cans of Lysol disinfectant spray
● 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
● 2 rolls of paper towels
(Feel free to donate more antibacterial and disinfecting items. The students desks, chairs, and any
other areas in the classroom will be disinfected and cleaned at the end of the school day.)

● Astrobrights colored copy paper (fluorescent colors hot pink, orange, green, yellow, blue,
purple)
● Sulphite construction paper from Lakeshore Learning Store (all sizes and colors)
● Tempera Washable Paint from Lakeshore Learning Store (all colors)
● Sandwich and Gallon Size ziplock bags
