About the discussion on module IV, the use of modern technology in education. In
today’s generation, technology is inevitable today because education has changed significantly.
And the use of technology played a vital role in our society and we are part of it. Everyone are
benefited about technology today.

The technology in education has a big help in teaching and learning process. It improves
teaching of the teachers, where they can easily and very effective present and deliver their
lecture to the student by using powerpoint. Teachers can access to more resources in effective
way to catch the attention of the students. Technology can improve communication where
teacher can easily communication and help the learners in their study and learnings. We are
very much happy about the modern technology today but how these technologies
affect/disadvantage the teaching-learning process. Technology can reduce students in being
creative, students can become lazy and distract about online games and they cannot focus in
their study. It decreases ability to interact with others or their social skills. Disconnection of
students from real world learnings.

As a modern teacher today, I always integrate the traditional and modern teaching. It’s a
great idea if we combined the present and past education. It develops teaching-learning process
that will enjoy our learners. Everything will become balance if we use technology in a proper
way and appreciate what are changes.
