I have received your request letter for reducing the rent. I totally understand your concern
regarding your situation and I really wish that all your difficulties get resolved.

The most devastating event since 2019 has pushed everyone back to his own feet is the
outbreak of COVID-19. Yes, I have also been hit hard by the same event which has proved itself
a ‘game-changer’ in our lives. I had never thought of facing such a panic situation before. I am
old and running my small business which has been affected badly due to the outbreak of
COVID-19. Since the first day of lockdown, I have not been able to pay attention to track my
business because I am staying at home and going nowhere. This has posed a serious threat to my
income and I am facing the worst days of my life. In order to fulfill my family needs, I have
pushed myself back and work harder even I am old and weak.

I know the fact that you also need money as well to sustain the basic expenses necessary
to your business operation. And to heed to your humble request, and after getting to know my
present condition, I grant you TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED (Php2, 500.00) PESOS
discount on your monthly rent until December 2022. I am already taking less rent as compared to
others, and I cannot reduce it further more. You know I am a retired person and this rent is the
only income I received to live my life. I hardly manage in this amount and I have expenses as
well to be paid.

Your kindness and support will be highly appreciated by me and my family.
