NOTICE
It is to bring to your kind notice that I Balram Nandwani S/O Sh. Udho Dass
Nandwani have been appointed as Sole Arbitrator in matter of Arbitration
between Dr. Nirmal Khandelwal (Applicant) and M/s Cygnus Medicare Private
Limited. First hearing in this matter was duly held on 27.01.2021 and second
hearing was held on 16.02.2021, wherein parties were asked to submit their
respective claims within a prescribed time period.
Applicant duly filed his statement of claim with the respective parties.
Counterparty reply to this claim is awaited. As per amended section 29A of
arbitration and Conciliation Act of 1966, arbitral award to the disputant should
be awarded within twelve months from the date of receipt of notice for
appointment by arbitrators. It is hereby asked to submit counterparty reply
within 10 days i.e. till 30.04.2021 (Friday). Now, due to pandemic covid
scenario, It is hereby proposed to hold final hearing for grant of Arbitration
Award through video conferencing within 7 days of receiving counterparty
reply. Hence, meeting for final hearing is scheduled to be held on 8 th Day of
May, 2021 (Saturday) at 12 p.m . Meeting link shall be shared through mail
before the scheduled time.
Kindly give your consent for the proposed hearing, so as to enable us to award
arbitral award within prescribed time limit and without unnecessary delay.
