Controlling idea or Claim Phones shouldn’t allow to be brought at school
Purpose To convince schools not allowing phones to be
used
Time frame Due one month from today
Reason 1 Evidence
Bullying can be more serious If a student being bully, some teens would take a
picture of them and it can leave a big scar since
its isn’t normal bully but as cyber bully as well
Reason 2 Evidence
Not paying attention in class Some would check their phones the whole day if
there is any notification or check their phones
because there is notification and can’t study
Counterclaim But students can use phones for study as a
source for information or easy access if there is
an emergency
Rebuttal But phones can also use for cheating and gather
information to pass the test quickly and if there is
an emergency, schools should have a well
solution to problems, but maybe except gunfire…
Call to Action Schools shouldn’t allow students to bring their
phones immediately since out there students are
using phones for bad actions and we should stop
it.
