Flap Position Indicator
Indicates flap position.UP – the slats and flaps are retracted.Between UP and 1 – the slats are
between the retracted and midrange position.1 to 30 – the flaps are in the indicated position.

Alternate (ALTN FLAPS) Flaps Selector
 NORM – normal flap operation, alternate system not in use.UP – the slats and flaps are

Alternate (ALTN) Flaps Switches
ALTN– •arms the selected LE slat or TE flap alternate drive unit•shuts off hydraulic
power to the selected LE slat or TE flap drive system. Off (ALTN not visible) –
alternate flaps and slats command
