Mr. Saud is a multifaceted and dynamic leader who has
worked with one of India's Leading FMCG company,
ITC Ltd.
Hailing from Kochi, Kerala. Mr. Saud completed his
graduation from Rajagiri college Kochi, and then moved
on to completing his MBA from Christ University.

In his last role he was the South Kerala Head for Foods
in ITC Ltd. Soon after he joined his family business and
is currently, the Executive Director of Ingex Lab Pvt.Ltd
and its group of companies and is heading and
developing the business there.

The talk first started with Mr. Saud Mohamed giving a small introduction about
himself and then asking the students about their expectations about the talk.
The session was kept in a formal way in order to understand the requirements of
the students.

Mr. Saud started the talk with asking the students to talk about the why they
chose Marketing. After gaining some inputs from all the students Saud gave a
clear view on importance of sales.

He emphasized on the fact that one should be clear about concepts of marketing
before you are going for the Interview. He also sparked some light on how to
face Group Discussions.

Mr. Saud then went on to discuss about tactics on how to attempt GD and stand
out amongst the other students. Then he also explained about the extensive
rounds of interview that ITC conducts. He also gave some tips on facing the
stress round conducted by ITC

Certain tips on how to get through the 6 months’ probation period where an
extensive and rigorous training is given to the candidates, where they are put
into different locations of India and to analyse the problems faced by the
retailers and the normal shop keepers,

He then spoke about the strategies he used to analyse the sales between family
pack of Nestle maggie and Yippe Noodles and then he went on to explain about
the packaging of Yippe noodles, which was the major concern for crushing of
the product and people preferring maggie. The Saud had discussions regarding
internship take up by various students. He also made performance analysis of
Ashirvad Ghee.

Later Mr. Saud Mohamed went to explain how to handle target pressure in the
firm and he went to explain how he made the highest number of sales of one
SKU Yippe Noodles and recorded a sale of 7.5 crore in one month. He also
explained how to handle the colleagues who has more experience in the
industry. Saud also explained how could maggie revamp to get into the market.

Then at the end he went on to explain about the what does Ingex Labs Pvt Ltd
do and he also spoke about the live project opportunities that he would provide
to the students.

The session was extremely engaging and all the questions related to ITC
interview, working of corporate etc., were duly addressed by the guest speaker.
Through the real time examples and experiences spoken about in the session,
the students were made aware of the practicality of the industry whilst
motivating them to have the inclination to upskill themselves!
