Dear Parent,

Kindly note that we will be celebrating Raksha Bandhan on 10th August, 2022 (Wednesday). Students
from grade 1 to 7 need to come in Traditional attire to celebrate the bond between brothers and
sisters. Students can also bring sweets in their tiffin on the same day to share with the class. Parents
are requested to arrange the necessary decoration materials for the below activity and send it to
school. Please make sure that minimal waste as the theme is i.e., Sustainability. This theme will help
the students to promote recycling of waste. Hoping to have maximum participation, co-operation and
a great time.

Please find the list of activities planned for the grades mentioned below:

Grade 1- 2 Classroom activity- Rakhi Making

Students will be making the rakhi in school.

Students need to make a DIY eco-friendly
rakhi

Grade 3 - 5 Classroom activity – Rakhi Making

Students can use a picture of their sibling or a

person who they believe to have a strong bond
with to make a unique eco-friendly rakhi.

Grade 6 - 7 Classroom activity – Rakhi or Thali Decoration

Students can choose doing either of the below

given activity for Raksha Bandhan celebration

1. Eco friendly rakhi

Or

2. Decorate a Thali for Raksha Bandhan.
