Significance of the study

This study would be beneficial specifically in terms of their varying benefits to the

students, online gamers, parents, teachers and future researchers

A. Students - It will give information to the students about how online gaming affects the

life of a students and develop their study habits and to concentrate more on their

studies.

B. Parents - This research would help the parents to be aware about the impacts of

online gaming among their children.

C. Teachers - This study will give better understanding on the difficulties experience by

student who are addicted to online games. This study will increase the prominence on

the importance of time management, were students who are addicted to online games

must learn to prioritize academics rather than online gaming.

D. Future Researchers – The result of the study will be useful to the future researchers

who are interested to conduct a similar esports-related study using variable but on

different setting.
