Dear Ms. Ireen,

Good day!

This is in response to the findings RE: Learning Resource Inventory Forms for Quarter
1, Quarter 2 and EPP-TLE and SHS.

As reflected in your findings, this schools division has higher number of printed and
delivered SLMs than the present enrolment but no reusable SLMS. This is because of
the following reasons, to wit:

1. For Quarters 1 and 2 of School Year 2020-2021, we had a greater number of

students who preferred the Printed Modular Learning Modality than our
enrolment as of April 2021 due to the following reasons: 
a. majority of our students opted to transfer to Radio-Based Instruction (RBI)
and TVBI modalities because of the numerous activities reflected in the Self-
Learning Modules; and 
b. our TVBI and RBI Learning Episodes are not SLMs-based. The Division
initiated the crafting of contextualized Activity Sheets (MELCs-based), limiting
to 1-5 pages to save resources.

2. Our school leaders decided not to let the students returned the SLMs due to the
possible transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Per report from the Local COVID-19
Inter-Agency Task Force, Oroquieta City has the highest COVID-19 cases in the
Province of Misamis Occidental.

As one of the implementing units of the Department, we commit to always uphold the
public interest including the health and safety of our school personnel and learners.
Rest assured, that the funds downloaded to this Office for the implementation of the
BE-LCP has been effectively and efficiently used according to its purpose.
