(Think, Pair, Share)

This work form can be used for any topic of interest. It works very well when starting a new topic at
the beginning of a unit, for instance.

 Get the students to think for about 1 minute about a topic/statement (in their students book
or otherwise).
 Then the students share their ideas with their partner. (2 minutes) Tell them to be prepared
to share their ideas with the classroom afterwards.
 They then share their ideas with the classroom. (3 minutes)

This form can also be used for answering reading comprehension questions in their textbook,
especially when the question is difficult and requires some thought.
