Module 1

Module 1 has discussed Overview of laboratory teaching in Basic Science course. In this module
I have learned the important qualities of a laboratory teacher. It has taught me that it's
challenging to teach in a lab setting. The lesson must be well-prepared in order to operate
smoothly. I have learned that preparedness and mastery is very important in teaching in
laboratory. It also discussed how to teach students on how to manipulate an instrument correctly,
teachers must constantly update their students' skills using various tools and devices. One of its
top priorities is safety in the lab. Laboratory safety is very important to be practice while
teaching in a laboratory to prevent accidents. In this module it has discussed what attitude and
characteristic a laboratory teacher should be.
