MODULE 2

Module 2 is about planning and designing a laboratory classroom. It has discussed that in
planning a laboratory classroom the administration, engineers, and laboratory users work
together to plan and create it. Examining a number of factors is necessary, including the
amount of space available, the materials required, safety procedures, etc. Before making
any decisions on material purchases or starting any work, these evaluations are essential.
There are 3 lessons in this module. Lessons 1 and 2 discusses how to plan and
design/sketch a laboratory set up that is necessary in a laboratory classroom, and
Lessons 3 and 4 teaches how to relate the laboratory requirements to the physical set up
of the laboratory. I have learned that many laboratory types are crucial for
understanding the various laboratory ideas. Its design often takes into account the many
types of laboratory activities that will take place and is linked to the security of all
laboratory users. To guarantee a safe and healthy atmosphere for conducting all
laboratory tasks, meticulous planning is therefore required.
