THE WESTERN WAY OR THE INDIAN WAY ?

Growth tip for india and china-

Will have to reconnect to their heritage to grow and to grow in ways which would be
more sustainable than western model instead of copying them coz that model in itself is
bankrupt, so instead of trying or copying and making chinese or indian version of
western model it is recommended they revisit the past and heritage to grow.

Experiencing nothingness vs Conquering the world?

Alexander was told stories of achilles, theseus vs sisyphus while gymnosophist heard
stories of bharata vs krishna and ram, two different subjective myths one which is linear
and other is cyclical, while one says there is only one life with sense of urgency and
other by a sense of repose,
Rationalist and scientists would end up believing in one life view as there is no evidence
rigid for rebirth and as a result of which we would end up opting or aligning our
businesses with one-life view hence one is always told there is pot of gold at end of
the rainbow, a happily ever after, if one sticks to the rules.

Profitable business - good thing vs bad thing? How much profit? How do we know
it's not motivated by greed? Need vs greed? INTROSPECTION is the solution , human
greed is unlimited and in the process of wanting to ignore the needs of the society and
by doing so we are doing no good to the society.

Need to look beyond that pot of gold-

Coz beyond that pot of gold there is another and many more pots , hence there is a
need to look at management frameworks beyond goal based, process-driven
management.

When mathematics was taking birth it was just based on a flat frame of reference until
mathematics acknowledged a spherical frame of reference.
Likewise, it is time to look at things the Indian way - where things are not always binary,
where there is comfort in ambiguity also, where the things shall be constantly changing
and there would be no way of doing things. Alexander's subjective truth about one way
travel can be true if you want to conquer the world for individual purpose but there are
or should be many who will or shall keep aside their individual wants for a greater
benefit.

Corporation-
The goal of the western approach to corporate management is to increase shareholder
wealth by leveraging customers, vendors, staff, and even the general public as methods
to that aim. Similar to Greek and biblical mythology, the concept is centered on goals,
objectives, and processes.
Indian way of doing business is not about doing business but using the act of doing
business to figure out why you are doing what you’re doing, unlike western model it
doesn't restrict itself to economic growth only , It combines it with the organization's
mission to promote core happiness. It pursues expansion because of human growth, not
regardless of human growth. Everyone—from clients to employees to vendors—is a
deity, even investors. All desire growth and need fulfilment. When you strive for
happiness, you advance intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Therefore, it is
important to understand why a firm exists.

Purpose of corporation-
Although an organization's mission is typically linked to revenue, it can also take the
shape of the concept of happiness, create happiness,
Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Durga, who stand for financial prosperity, intellectual wealth,
and emotional richness respectively, are essentially a person's needs for material
possessions, intellectual stimulation, and emotional fulfilment. These are the three
items that people exchange with one another in daily life. By meeting all of these
demands, a business can promote happiness.

Short term vs long term for companies-

When we discuss creation, we also discuss its erasure. There is no escaping death.
Anything that gives birth also dies, so the question is how to live a long and healthy life.
It applies to organizations just as much as it does to health. What do businesses
undertake to ensure their long-term viability and prosperity?
Lord vishnu in hindu mythology is known as custodian of world , he is said to possess
two views , the narrow view with objective of solving particular issue when he reclining
on coils of serpent , and when he is riding the garuda he is said to have broad, long term,
a big picture with tiny details , hence his capability to look at things in both ways
attracted lord lakshmi , goddess of wealth to him.
The reason there are so many gaps between vision and implementation in businesses is
that top management, the leadership, and bottom management are incorrectly
associated with garuda-dhristi and sarpa-dhristi, respectively. Only then, Lakshmi, will
money come your way. Leaders must think bottom-up, while those involved in
implementation must think top-down.
