 The temperature varies with different altitude as the altitude increase the air pressure decreases and

the temperature also decreases . In city X the temperature is low than the city Y because of the high altitude the

temperature fall down and because of the low temperature the water vapors condenses and rainfall occur.

The latitude is inversely propotional to temperature . As the latitude increases the temperature

falls and there is a increase in the intensity of rainfall. And with the decrease in latitude the temperature increase

and there is a decrease in rainfall as in the graph for city X the temperature decreases and there is an increase in

rainfall and in the graph for city Y the latitude decreases and there is a increase in temperature and decrease in

rainfall
