MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION USE – MIU

Research on a teaching material (flashcards, games, board

games, Ka hoot, dictionaries, etc.) that you can use in class to
teach grammar, read it and attach the document together with a
reflection on how you would use it and why (a well-organized
paragraph, no less than 12 lines). Include the images of the
material and the source.

Deadline: May 16th

As a source of teaching material for my class, I would use the
Kahoot game. Kahoot is a game-based learning platform that
makes it easy to create, share and play learning games or trivia
quizzes in minutes. I’ll use this game as a recycling grammar
structure for my students to remember what they learned. This
platform is also easy to use, questions and answer alternatives
will be displayed on the shared screen, while students answer on
their devices. It has a lot of options on how to make the quizzes,
for example the play mode, students can play by themselves or
in groups. It has a variation of mix and match question types. As I
am teaching grammar, I can use the True/False, Type Answer and
quiz of multiple-choice questions. With his I can know and test
my student’s knowledge retention. What's more, I can see their
mistakes and reinforce them on the next class or even in that
moment.
