The line graphs show the annual data of criminal cases that occured in Newport

city during 2003-2012. These law-breaking actions classified into 3 major cases
(housebreaking, robbery and car theft). Generally there was a downtrend of one
of the cases, while two other cases had fluctuated lines.
In 2003, burrglary had a huge number of actions compared to car theft and
housebreaking. The number began from 3500 cases and reached its peak in 2004
with arround 3750 cases, after that the line extreamly declined to 1100 cases in
the middle of 2008 and the number never hit more than 1500 cases until 2012.
The line shape of car theft seemed to be more fluctiating than housebreaking, for
example car theft incidents were occured around 2750 incidents during 2003 until
2005 before it slightly drop to 2006 and rose gradually until 2012. On the other
hand robbery had smallest number of incidents among car theft and
housebreaking. The line was only drawn horizontally over 500 to 800 incidents.
