1. Ans: Production scheduling is the management and allocation of resources,


events and processes to create goods and services. A business adjusts its
production schedule based on the availability of resources such as raw hide
and skin, chemicals, man power, customer orders and efficiencies. The goal of
production scheduling is to balance customer needs with available resources
while operating in the most cost-efficient manner.

2. Ans : Selection is the appropriate equipment when considering such things as


accessibility, safety and site. During selection of equipment we should match
the process and the stock we have.
