CLASS
(TECHNOLOGY) CONTRACT
This contract is made on _____________ (dd/mm/yy) and is
intended to outline and formalise the technology norms of our history
class. By signing this contract, I, __________________(name) of
______ (class) pledge that I will commit to upholding and
embodying the classroom norms of:

(1) Being courageous in my learning of history, choosing to step out of

my comfort zone. This can mean asking questions, offering responses
and all other examples that are articulated in the annex of this
contract.

(2) Being intentional in my learning of history, choosing to ensure

that all my words and actions are grounded in values that I (and my
community) believe in. This can mean being kind with my words,
respectful in my actions and all other examples that are articulated in
the annex of this contract.

(3) Being accountable in my learning of history, choosing to take

ownership of my work. This can mean putting in my very best for the
work, completing work on time, and all other examples that are
articulated in the annex of this contract.

(4) Being courageous, intentional and accountable in my use of

technology in the history classroom. I will only use technology to
advance my learning, following the rules articulated in the slides.

Having said this, I acknowledge that transitioning to Secondary 1

might be difficult, and that I might, at times, lapse in the above
contract. In those moments, I will be open to feedback, so that I can
learn and grow.
