regional strategies. What does this statement mean, and how does it help us
better understand international business?

one language to another. As an international business manager, how would
you cope with such mistakes?
(a)Assume yourself to be an exporter, and you need export credit, analyze the
importance of this credit in your business and at what stages you would

15. (b)As a foreign policy tool, trade embargoes discourage foreign governments. CO4 10 K5
Examples include US embargoes against Cuba, Iraq (until 2003), and North
Korea. Embargoes cause a great deal of misery among the population of the
affected countries (such as shortages of medicine and food). Are embargoes
ethical? Evaluate the situation.
