HOME VISITATION
NARRATIVE REPORT
Home visitations helps to establish strong and positive communication between the

teachers and the parents as well. It give families an opportunity to share their culture and

background with teachers. When teachers understand the culture and expertise of the parents

and extend opportunities for parents to get involved, levels of parent involvement increases.

This COVID 19 pandemic has given the teachers a tremendous challenge to follow–up

their pupils in terms of their academic ability in school especially in literacy and numeracy

skills. Hence, it never ceases the teachers love and passion to teaching and to their pupils as

well.

The teachers of Tiguib Elementary School tried to reach out the pupils and administer the

give remediation, interventions, to check their performances and to identify their strengths and

weaknesses in terms of the skills they needed to have and learn at their age, through home

visitation and seeing them at the purok area. Aside from giving remediation, the teacher as well

used the opportunity to conduct the end line assessment of the ECCD for the Kindergarten

pupils.

We were very happy that the parent/ home tutors supported all of us until the end. We

just hope that what they have learned this school year amidst of the learning delivery that we

had offer them will be useful as they grow up.

Indeed, school year 2020-2021 for Tiguib Elementary School was a success.
