- Samsung is a South Korean company, which is one of the

largest electronic equipment manufactures in the world, besides


some brands such as Apple, Sony LG.
- Samsung specializes in manufacturing a board range of devices
for customers and companies, including appliances, digital
media, semiconductors and storage devices.
- But, I was really surprised when I first heard that the Samsung
company initially was not an electronic gadgets company, but a
gorcery store.
- The founder of Samsung, Lee-Byung-Chull had an export
company in Korea in 1938 which was known as Samsung
Sanhoe.
- In the 1960s the founder decided to join the electronic industry
and decided to name the company Samsung.
- 83 years after its founding, from 1938 to 2021, Samsung has
grown from a chain of retail department stores into one of the
world's brightest brands. Talking about Samsung today, we
think a lot and associate a lot with a famous electronic and
digital technology brand. In Korean, Samsung means three stars.
The three stars represent Samsung's three dis’tinctive values:
"caliber and scale", "ability and strength", "quality and
reputation". Those widely recognised connotations and
messages are also the criteria that have helped this brand
become what it is today.

company expand their influences to different economic sectors
