PURPOSE: Release assemble process for valve springs

DESCRIPTION:

1. Valve springs used on all 140 Engines need to be assembled in the proper direction. Incorrect
assembly may contribute to valve breakage.

2. Assembly procedure
Assemble white paint mark inside (rough coil side) on Top. See diagram below.

The current shop manual doesn’t mention this important information, it will be revised soon.
