Narrative Report on the Bridging the Gap Program

We started our Bridging the Gap program last March 1, 2021. Planning together with my
co-teachers, we listed down the name of learners who did not completed their modules as well
as their summative test and performance tasks. We identified the learners who are poor in
reading comprehension and solving mathematics. I prepared Enhancement Activities in
Mathematics for my learners to improve their ability in solving basic four fundamental
operations. For those learners who are poor in reading, I prepared some reading materials and
passages for their remedial reading.

In the morning of March 2 up to March 12, 2021, we started our home visitation by
purok. We ask our pupils to wear their facemask then we let them read some passages in
Filipino and English for us to identify their reading ability. Most of our pupils are good reader,
but some are slow reader. We cannot reach some of the learners because they are not around.
Some of the learners are helping their parents earn money for their daily living and others are
on vacation. What I did was to monitor them thru personal message and inform them what
they are lacked to complete their grades.
