MẸO TĂNG ĐIỂM CHO WRITING TASK 2

Trong bài này mình sẽ giới thiệu 1 số mẹo đơn giản và dễ áp dụng nhưng cũng rất hiệu
quả để tăng chất lượng bài viết Task 2 của các bạn và giúp các bạn đạt được điểm số' cao
hơn.

Mẹo 1: Biến cụm danh từ thành mệnh đề quan hệ

Từ 1 cụm danh từ thông thường, chúng ta có thể biến đổi chúng 1 cách đơn giản để có 1
cụm mệnh đề quan hệ (cấu trúc ngữ pháp phức tạp hơn và ăn điểm hơn).

Công thức: adj + noun -> noun + who/that + is/are + adj

(who để chỉ người, that để chỉ vật/sự việc; is dùng cho danh từ số' ít, are dùng cho danh
từ số' nhiều)

Ví dụ:

important subjects = subjects that are important poor families = families that are poor

wealthy people = people who are wealthy

Chú ý: Mẹo này chỉ sử dụng 1 hoặc tối đa 2 lần trong 1 bài, không lạm dụng nhiều quá vì
sẽ khiến bài viết loằng ngoằng, khó đọc.

Mẹo 2: Thêm từ để tạo thành collocations
Thông thường khi viết bài, chúng ta chỉ sử dụng các noun, verb hoặc adj đứng đơn lẻ.
Tuy nhiên, ở mẹo này, chúng ta sẽ học thuộc 1 số từ để đi kèm và bổ nghĩa thêm cho các
từ có sẵn.

1. clear benefits / great benefits / clear advantages / great advantages

Thay vì nói: "There are some benefits of..." chúng ta có thể nói: "There are some great
benefits of..."

Thay vì nói: "The first benefit is that..." chúng ta có thể nói: "The first clear benefit is
that..."

Tương tự, chúng ta có các cụm từ sau mà bạn có thể học thuộc để áp dụng trong bài
viết:

3. stable growth / stable development

4. effective / feasible solutions

5. a great waste

6. might be significantly reduced / gradually reduced

Mẹo 3: Paraphrase dùng this/these
Khi viết bài, rất nhiều trường hợp chúng ta sẽ gặp những từ khóa không thể paraphrase
được, tức là những từ không có từ đồng nghĩa nào thay thế được. Ví dụ các từ như
"museums" hay "computers" không thể có từ nào thay thế và paraphrase cho chúng
được.
Trong những trường hợp này, chúng ta vẫn có thể tìm cách tránh lặp đi lặp lại những từ
khóa này quá nhiều lần trong bài viết bằng cách sử dụng cấu trúc "this/these + noun".
(this dùng cho danh từ số ít, these dùng cho danh từ số nhiều).
Nếu ở câu trước chúng ta đã nhắc đến từ khóa rồi, thì câu sau chúng ta có thể dùng
"this/these + noun" để tránh lặp lại từ khóa một lần nữa.
Ví dụ: "museums" -> "these places"; "computers" = "these devices"
Bài tập: Ứng dụng mẹo trên, điền vào chỗ trống cụm từ tương ứng đã được paraphrase
so với từ in đậm đằng trước. Sử dụng "this/these + noun". Mình làm mẫu 2 câu đầu.
