Statement of Work: This 12 months-long project is to be a (team/individual) effort of X

researchers including graduate students. Faculty and research staff are Professor X from the X
Center, Assistant Professor Y from the Y Department and Research Engineer Z from the Z Lab.
On conclusion the researchers will deliver a report of investigation to include recommendations
for further investigation and an option to continue such investigations for a second 12 month
period with this research team.
The investigation will explore a basic hypothesis that central idea will provide insights into the
ARL capability of interest repeat linkage statement from above. The hypothesis, restate the
central idea, will be investigated through the following steps.

During the course of investigation and before the final conclusions are drawn the researchers
anticipate vetting their understanding and results by consultation with Fort Leonard Wood
subject matter experts and Army Research Lab investigators per the Open Campus initiative.
Researchers may also attend or present at defense-related conferences and meetings as part of the
investigation. Forums that are of interest for this work include Conference I, Seminar J and
