Data Analysis
This bar graph from 2018 to 2022 displays the number of pupils
who switched from private to public education. One student
moved from a private school to a public school in 2019–2020,
increasing the number of transferred students at Nagbalayong
National High School. The school year 2020–2021 saw an
increase in the number of students. Students who transferred
increased threefold. The school year 2020–2021 has the highest
numbers. The following school year, 2021–2022, saw a
decrease in the numbers.
When the numbers are compared, it is obvious that the
pandemic caused more students to want to switch from private
to public schools. Due to the pandemic and cost of living
increases, some parents are struggling to make ends meet.
Some families migrate from one place to another.
