TYPES OF KNOWLEDGE

1. Factual Knowledge
Factual information may simply be defined as terminology, precise details and
fundamental elements within any domain.
Ex: Textbooks

2. Conceptual Knowledge
It refers to the interpretation of ideas, principles, hypotheses, models, classifications,
etc., or understanding them. By reading, watching, hearing, witnessing, or thoughtful, reflexive
mental behavior, we gain intellectual awareness.

3. Expectational Knowledge
Knowledge that comes from perceptions, judgments, opinions, working theories, and
comparisons, based on previous experiences.
Ex: Mental Model / Game Theory

4. Methodological Knowledge
Provides the meta-knowledge of how to think and argue in various circumstances and
situations through our methodological methods and reasoning techniques, provided data
about the terms of facts, data, viewpoints, and decisions, circumstances and context
knowledge.
