Horse riding is called The Sport of Kings.

The queen is very keen on horse riding and she always

participates in Royal Ascot, the main event of the year.

The Grand National takes place in Liverpool, which is the most difficult horse race in the world and was
founded in 1839. In this race the horses make two laps in the 6907 meter field, overcoming 30
obstacles.

Horse riding has ancient origins. For the first time, in the Middle Ages, the artocracy used the horse for
competitive purposes. It is not a simple sport, indeed in one hour of lessons you burn from 360 to 650
calories, so you have to follow a diet or healthy eating.

Horse Riding requires muscle strenght, balance, flexibility, agility and awarness of your body.

The muscle more interested are lower limbs, and for sitting correctly, you have to work on the pelvis,
instead to get firmness on the saddle, you have to work on thigh muscles.

Instead the upper limbs perform a movement function and promote balance. Indeed having strong arms
is essential for this sport.
