I, the undersigned, Fedi Regaieg, Project Manager – Global operations at Hult Prize, and
Director of 2019 Paris Regional Summit, would like to support the candidacy of one of our
most outstanding volunteers at Paris Regional Summit, Dr. Mahmoud Kamoun, who
succeeded on leading his logistics team, our most solicited department, with all the
necessary mental health and psychological support they all needed to complete the event
with high notes.

The Hult Prize hosts the world’s largest global annual student competition for game-
changing business ideas. Challenge young entrepreneurs worldwide to solve a pressing
social issue. Invite the most promising startups to pitch their businesses to a panel of expert
judges. Award the winning team $1M USD in funding to make their big idea a reality.

Dr. Mahmoud was the right person at the right time to handle the responsibility of Logistics
and HR Lead for the Hult Prize Regional Summit in Paris, which took place on April 27 and 28,
2019 in which we received more than 200 participants from 30 countries to pitch their
startup ideas. We really wish to have him back on the team in the next editions.

It’s good to mention that he was crucial for the negotiation efforts with the different
suppliers, management of the financial budget on the details required, recruitment of the
on-site volunteers and motivating the team to welcome our community on the best way.

As a matter of fact, Paris Regional Summit was ranked among the 3 best Regionals in that
year on its first edition.
