Public Speaking: Bullying

Good morning teachers and my fellow friends.

Standing in front of you all, I would like to deliver my
speech about bully. But first, do you know what is
bullying?
Bullying is the use of force, threat, abuse or control
others aggresively. The behaviour is often repeated.
Example of bullying are calling people mean names like
“You are fat, You are stupid”. Or laughing at people,
telling lies about people, taking someone’s things without
permission, and hitting people. So, have you ever been
bullied? Or bully others?
So, what are we going to do?
If someone is mean to you, tell an adult that you know
well and trust. For example, talk to your parents or
teacher if you been bullying or if you see bullying.
If you are the bullies, say sorry if you are mean to
someone. You can write a message or talk to the person.
Think about how to be kind in the future.
Some people think that bullying is just a stage, a
normal part of life. However, bullying is not a normal or
socially acceptable behaviour. We give bullies power by
acceptance of this behaviour. So, SAY NO TO BULLY.
Thank you.
