AC Gateway

AC Gateway is a gateway product that can access Hikvision ISUP5.0/ISAPI access control devices and provide uniform
protocol, protocol conversion, event distribution, and other functionalities.

Key Feature
Device Management
● Adding devices in a batch by importing a predefined template (CSV file)
● Managing up to 10,000 access control devices, including adding devices, editing devices, deleting devices, searching
devices, etc.
● Managing access control devices that supports permission (person information, card information, fingerprint, and face
picture) application/removal, real-time events uploading, historical events searching, controlling door status remotely,
and fingerprint collection, etc.
● Configuring transparent transmission, door name, and the schedule template of person information via the RESTful HTTP
for devices

Protocol Conversion
Converting ISUP5.0 protocol and ISAPI protocol to RESTful HTTP

Event Search
Supports the third-party system searching for the history events stored on the devices

Event Transmission
Configuring the Event Server address of the third-party system for devices, after which the devices can directly transmit
events to the Event Server. This function should be supported by the device
Event Distribution and Storage
● Enabling Alarm Subscription function for transmitting alarm information from devices by the AC Gateway
● Event Distribution:
 For ISAPI devices, up to 100 events without pictures per second
 For ISUP devices, up to 1,000 events without pictures per second or up to 30 events with pictures per second
The picture files uploaded by devices will stay for 2 days after which they will be deleted automatically
API Testing
● Performing API testing to see if a function works

Devices Supports up to 10,000 devices.
For ISAPI devices, supports up to 100 events without pictures per second.
For ISUP devices, supports up to 1,000 events without pictures per
second and 30 events with pictures per second.
Access Control Devices Event Distribution
Note: For higher performance, the event transmission is recommended.
This method is not restricted by the performance of AC Gateway and
instead is dependent on the third party.
