Film review

The film called The Gentlemen is a 2019 film which was written and produced by
Guy Ritchie. It follows and American marijuana drug lord in England who is
looking to sell his business but the buyer wants to reduce the price of the
“company” by sabotaging some of the deals. We can see the plot like it’s a story
told by a reporter played by Hugh Grant. It was nominated for the best Action or
Adventure Film at the Saturn Awards in 2021.
I especially liked the film for its humor and the way the plot is built up. The actors
were superbly casted and many famous ones starred such as Hugh Grant, Matthew
McConaughey and Colin Farrell. There isn’t any awfully forced love interest in
the movie only the amount that is needed.
My brother didn’t liked it because there were some unrealistic scenes and he
didn’t quite enjoyed all the punch lines said in the work. He said that the plot was
mediocre for him and that it would have been better in other ways but he always
criticizes everything.
I would recommend this movie to everybody who likes film fascinating scenes
and the American humor, also interested in the topic of drugs especially
marijuana.
