Vertical farming

Vertical farming is not a very old idea. Actually it first appears in the 1950s. Literally the idea is to
build a skyscraper which we don’t use for living but to grow corps.
There are a lot of advantages and disadvantages of this “brand new” idea. Some advantages is that it
can be in the center of the city so the corps would not have to travel miles before actually appears in
the stores. It would has its own climate so it would not matter if you’re living in Greenland or in the
Saharans you could produce nearly anything you want.
But there are many disadvantages too. For example the country side would lost its importance because
the big cities would not order from them so plenty of people would lost their job or they move to cities
and because of that the city would increase and again the country side would be gone or became
forgotten. The bad thing is that this was only few disadvantages and there are so many more that
would destroy families.
All in all, I think that eventually we should follow the time and not be scared of change so in my
opinion vertical farming is a really great and comforting idea.
