II. Age - 68 months/ 5 years

III. Math- Geometry

IV. Standard- 1.0 Identify, describe, and construct a shapes, such as a circle and variety of
different shapes, including square. variations of a circle, triangle, rectangle, square,
and other shapes.

Goal: Children will draw and identify three geometric shapes

Objective 1:

Using their cognitive skills, the children will identify three geometric shapes.

Using their fine motor skills, the children will draw three geometric shapes.

Objective 2:

Using their language skills, the children will identify three geometric shapes by how many

corners and sides does each shape have.

Using their social skills, the children will discuss the difference between three geometric shapes

during small group.

Materials: Have colorful markers to choose from a bucket, each individual will have a white

construction paper, multiple rulers

Procedure: After outside play children will go to their assign colored small groups, the name of

the shapes will be called out with an image of each three shapes and children would then draw

the shape.

Supervision: Myself and a teacher assistant will supervise six students during small group.
