ESSAY KRISTAN EDO PUTRA

Through this paper I will try to explain some of the reasons why I chose this study program in

medicine specifically for men and women in Kalimantan. The study program or major at one of

these universities really interested me. That is the general medical study program, my motivation

for choosing general medicine was first because I wanted to make my parents happy to become

doctors who can serve the community well, one example is that a doctor can help when parents

are sick. The second is because I want to help people who have less money or have difficulty

getting good health services. I'm really sad to see it directly with my own eyes when people who

can't afford to wait are not even 1 to 2 or 3 hours away but days especially during a pandemic

like this, I can't bear to see it, I want to be able to help them fully without them having to think

about the cost issue. Actually, you don't have to be a doctor if you want to help people, but I

chose to become a doctor and study medicine because it's also my calling. This has been my

dream since I was little, my hobby is playing doctors, so when asked my goal, I always say I

want to be a doctor. My parents also wanted me to become a doctor and I want to make it happen

slowly.

I am a sports fan. One of my favorite sports is futsal and badminton. I am in my area in a small

futsal group that was formed because of a hobby whose membership is a friend of mine, in

badminton I have participated in the O2SN selection at my high school, at that time I passed the

O2SN selection but failed to leave because of the COVID19 pandemic.

I am also a lover of arts and customs in my area, I have had dances, carnivals at my school,

outside of school I have also joined the traditional community which in the community learns

and develops young people's speech. and can be the next generation in my area, there are also

our activities such as weaving, making statues, learning customs, and others.
Why I chose Pelita Harapan University as my place of study because Pelita Harapan University

is a private university located in Jakarta, precisely in Lipokarawaci Tangerang. A good

university and already has an A accreditation for the faculty of medicine. Pelita Harapan

University also has adequate facilities and infrastructure in the infrastructure sector including

facilities and infrastructure, land and buildings and their equipment as educational support

facilities which will always be improved both physically and in their use. A large and majestic

building. Pelita Harapan University is also one of the Christian universities that are guided by the

values of Christianity, Christianity and Nationality. Pelita Harapan University also aims to

produce excellent graduates, with international character and insight, so that they can be useful

for society and the progress of Indonesia. The service of Pelita Harapan University is also good

and good. Pelita Harapan University is my last and greatest hope for this year. I pray, I try, and

try. Hopefully, all my patience and efforts are not in vain. Hopefully I can be accepted on this

campus and become a proud student of Pelita Harapan University and the Faculty of Medicine

with the achievements that I have in the future.
