For the latest procedure, refer to Troubleshoot Registration or Serial Number Errors.
 
Issue
The Panorama software has been registered and support authorization codes have been applied, but incorrect
information is reflected under the Panorama > Support page.

The software does not appear under Software.

Also, the serial number appears as "Unknown" under Dashboard > General Information. For example:

Resolution
The issue can be resolved on either the Web GUI or from the CLI.

From the order summary email sent, there will be the serial number for the Panorama appliance. Take note of this
serial number:

Web GUI

1. Open the Panorama tab


2. Click on Setup
3. Open the Management tab
4. General settings and click the edit button on the top right (gear icon)
5. Enter the serial number provided in the email.

6. Note:  To convert an Eval Panorama serial number to the purchased Panorama serial number, follow the
above steps and change the serial number to the one purchased.

CLI

Run the set serial-number <value>  command, where <value> is the serial number

For example:

> set serial-number 1010SE101010
