Industry is the largest, and one of the oldest manufacturer of rolled steel section in Pakistan. Initially, the company was involved in the production of mild steel. Gradually, we introduced different products to the local marketand diversified our product range. Keeping with our vision, in 1989 we introduced to the local steel market, for the first time in the history of Pakistan, locally manufactured heavy sections. Before that, manufacturing heavy sections in Pakistan was considered impossible. Heavy sections were being imported at high costs, which was resulting in longer delivery periods, limited variety in terms of sizes, dimensions and lengths, and an outflow of foreign exchange. Our manufacturing facility occupies 1 million ft2 area from which 35000 f2 is covered. Ishtiag Steelindustry is the first & only organization in Pakistan registered with PSQCA (Pakistan standards & quality control authority) and manufacture's Beams / Channels according its standards. Ishtiaq Stee! industry is Pakistan's largest producer of re-rolled structural steel sections. Along with manufacturing steel products we are also stockist of steel products we are also stockist of stee! products which enable us to provide Stee! Production locally. From the making of Billet to the selling of the finished products, every facility is under one roof and these processes can be divided as follows: Raw Mate! We use Billets (ASTM A-36, A572 Grade) as the raw material for Re-rolling. This sole producer for this kind of raw material is Pakistan Steel Mills and we are among the leading buyers ofbillets and slabs manufactured by Pakistan Stee! Mils. Melting / Casting Facility: Melting and production of Steel billets is performed by Electric Arc Furnace and Induction Furnace through Continous Casting Plant Rolling Process: This is perhaps the most important stage of the engine process, where a heated piece of steel is rolled into the required shape and size. The piece is then cut and straightened under the supervision of skilled and qualified engineers. TESTING PROCESS ‘Chemical Testing: ‘The product produced at different stages of melting & Finish is tested through our Spectrometer Lab Mechanical Testing We also test our finished product for mechanical properties using universal tensile testing machine and ‘ensure the best mechanical properties for our products. Internal Quality & Inspection: We have an internal system of quality control and inspection. Our team of engineers ‘ensure that at every stage we maintain strict quality standards.
