NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF DEMONETISATION IN INDIA

CASH CRUNCH AMONG INDIANS - The Indian Government had seemed as if


less prepared for the move and most of the Indians were finding it difficult to
get cash in hand for day to day needs.
SMALL BUSINESSES WORST HIT - Small businesses had to limit their business
activities and many of the small businesses suffered great losses with the
demonetisation process.
BPL FAMILIES MOST AFFECTED BY DEMONETISATION - Lack of bank accounts
and limited resources, poor and needy people of India were the most affected
ones.
GDP CAME DOWN - GDP of India has slowed down GDP also rallied
downwards from 9.2 in January 2016 to 7 in December 2016. GDP continued to
fall and had finally came down to 6.1 by March 2017.
