The graph below shows how elderly people in Europe spent their free time between
1980 and 2010.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make
comparisons where relevant.
You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
Write at least 150 words.

The line chart illustrates how senior citizens in Europe used their spare time in 30 years from 1980 to 2010. Overall,
it is clearly evident that there was an increase in all activities in which hiking surged sharply and reading fluctuated
wildly while playing sport dropped slightly.

The line data clearly shows that most of leisure activities in the 1980s were a dramatic upsurged. However, going to
the theater seemed deteriorated sharply from 50% to 30%.

Now turning to the details of 1990s, European senior citizens had spent the most majority of their spare time to
playing sport, it was steady increased while reading book fluctuated wildly almost 20%. In 2000s, the hiking had
leaped almost the same as it was by 20% from 60% to 80% and there was nearly 5% slight dropped of sport that
Europe’s elders played in their spare time.

In conclusion, European senior citizens were still interested in hiking most from 1980 to 2010.
