1. Discuss the role of pharmacists in the health care delivery system.

- The healthcare delivery system is a network of health facilities and personnel that
carries out the task of rendering health care to the people, and the role of a
pharmacist plays an integral role as a member of the health care team. A
pharmacist is one of the most accessible health care professionals, responsible
for providing patients with effective, safe, and high-quality medicine and services.
They are also required to be competent and disciplined to have up-to-date
knowledge about different medications and provide reliable information about the
drugs and their potential adverse effect to the patient. As a part of the health care
delivery system, a pharmacist's role plays in a wide scope of career paths, and
their main goal is to improve the efficiency of medication services offered and
ensure optimal health for all.
