Lesson 1: Thoughts and Reflection

Upon finishing the first lesson, it gave me a broad perspective on how to identify myself. It
allows me to be more specific and conceptualize various traits and characteristics within me and
know how different factors, like experience and events, affect my view of life. It is truly an eye-
opener in identifying oneself. Knowing everything that makes me “me” is the key to
understanding self and purpose.

Lesson 2: Thoughts and Reflection

Today’s lesson gave me insights on how, at a very young age, we already seek to find our own
identity through interacting and socializing with others. We are affected by what others think and
perceive about us. We develop to either manifest that different perception of us or to take it as an
opinion and evolve into what we think we truly are. The human mind is fascinating on how it can
make us believe on anything we deemed ourselves to be, and we still subconsciously do those
things even if we don’t meant to act like it or be it.

Lesson 3: Reflection and Thoughts

This lesson tackles how one’s cultural background and the way they grew up shapes how they
behave and act around others. We have cultural differences, and each one is different from the
other. It is embedded in us and it influences how we act on our beliefs in different customs and
traditions. One culture is vastly different or as close as it can get to other culture, but it still
depends on how we mold ourselves or how the environment affects the way we interact with
others even if we have those so called “stereotypes” to distinguish us. We are the same, but
different at the same time.

Lesson 4: Thoughts and Reflection

I have reflected on this lesson, and I am surprised to think that I may have been the type of
person that has multiple selves. I do tend to change how I treat people based on the kind of
relationship I have with them, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that I am not fully honest with
them and with myself. It is just the way I perceive those kinds of things, and I think it is fine by
me. Having this kind of multiple self is ideal for me, a person who likes to socialize and be
friends with a lot of different people with different personalities. I find it perfect and it may have
been a benefit for me after all.
