1. What struck you most in the story? Why?

When the boy says something mysterious to St. Augustine. Because we will be thinking that
there’s a deep meaning to those words, and it is connected to the life of St. Augustine we will
be wondering if their consequences or it is just a message from God.

2. Based from the story, what does the boy trying St. Augustine to understand?

Based on my reflection to that story, I think he was a messenger of God. Because on that time
St. Augustine trying to understand more about the Holy Trinity. The boy says “It is no more
impossible than what you are trying to do- comprehend the immensity of the mystery of the
Holy Trinity with your small intelligence.” Meaning it is complicated to understand God and
its Holy Trinity because our intelligence is small like the small hole and the intelligence of God
is like the water of the sea it cannot fit to the small hole. That was the boy trying St.
Augustine to understand that we cannot put our small intelligence to the mystery of the Holy
Trinity.

3. What is the story all about? How does this story relate to your daily life activities?

The story is all about the boy trying St. Augustine to understand that he cannot put the
Mystery of the Holy Trinity with his small intelligence. I can relate that my life is full of
mystery how can I show my fate to God in my everyday life. And how can I see the mystery of
the Holy Trinity. Doing some activities like module, cleaning, playing or even cooking, we
must feel the presence of the Holy Trinity we must not try to understand it but me must
believe it.

1. Why does the Revelation through Christ differ from all previous Revelation?

God’s incarnation sees in Jesus Christ, it is the historical self revelation of God that surpasses
everything before it. And it is because we meet God and it say’s in John 14: 9 that “anyone
who has seen me, has seen the Father”. And in the New Testament, that the incarnation of
God become flesh, so that means the revelation of God through Christ is flesh that Jesus has
two nature, true God and true Man, we see the revelation in His miracles teaching and even
in His crucifixion and death. When we compared it to the previous revelation we see that in
the beginning when God creates the heaven and earth His revelation is Godly there’s nothing
mention about flesh but wee sees it in Genesis that God reveal Himself with His Almighty
doings there is no birth during His revelation while revelation of God through Christ is when
Mary give birth to Jesus.
