company. It entails planning, managing, and overseeing the organization's
procedures in order to generate the best feasible operational profit by balancing
revenues and costs. An operations manager is responsible for ensuring that the
organization's inputs, such as resources, labor, and technology, are efficiently
converted into outcomes. The administration of best business practices in order to
achieve optimum levels of performance and efficiency in the utilization of firm
resources is referred to as operations management. This comprises suitable
material, machinery, technology, and labor management in order to produce high-
quality items and services that benefit the organization.

All of these elements must be effectively handled, from strategic planning


through implementation to production supervision to final evaluation of outcomes
for future developments, in order for the company to remain profitable and
competitive in its field. Operations managers are in charge of strategizing,
forecasting, and managing everyday activities, which is a big job.

2. What are the objectives in studying Operations Management?


The objective of operations management is to increase efficiency while creating
goods and services that meet the needs of customers. Any organization's
operations function is one of three strategic functions. Production management's
major goal is to produce things and services in the proper quantity, at the right
time, and for the least amount of money possible. It also aims to increase
productivity. A well-run company will be able to successfully compete.

3. How Operations Management be useful in your business career?


Operations management is imperative in a business since it facilitates in the
