3nd Annual Small on the Wall Exhibit

July 15th- August 31st, 2011

Prospectus
Eligibility
Open to all artists aged 18 or older. Artists may enter up to three pieces. Entries should
be works in any medium that are ready to hang. All works should be intended for wall
mounting. Works should be representative of your current body of work and therefore
be a piece that has been executed within the last two years. Artworks should be no
larger than 11x14 (and not exceed 16x20 with framing/presentation materials
attached). Any very small items, castings, or jewelry should be securely mounted to
hang. No work will be juried. All work must be original and appropriate for the event.

Calendar of Show Events

Entries due: Friday, July 8th and Saturday, July 9th. All entries should be delivered to
Artplace Gallery from 9:30a.m. to 6:00p.m. either day. If necessary, alternative delivery
times can be arranged by calling Shelley Tate Garner at 903.327.8180.
Opening Reception: Friday, July 15, 2010 6-8 pm (snacks compliments of Artplace)
Exhibition dates: July 15th- August 31st 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Thursday-Saturday), 9:30
a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Tuesday & Wednesday)
Pick up dates: Friday and Saturday, September 2nd and 3rd 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or by
arrangement

Entry Procedure
Entry forms must accompany artwork. Fill out all forms completely and legibly. Attach
appropriate form securely to the back of each work. There are no fees associated with
entry into this show.

Sales

Artists are encouraged to offer their work for sale. A thirty percent commission will be
charged by Artplace Gallery for each sale.

Liability and Policies

Artplace Gallery will handle all artwork with respect and care. That being said, Artplace
Gallery and its staff assume no responsibility for damage, theft, etc. during receiving
days, setup, throughout the exhibit and during removal. Artplace Gallery reserves the
right to refuse any entry and/or to withdraw any work from the exhibit at its discretion.
Submission of an entry to the Small on the Wall Exhibit constitutes an agreement on the
part of the entrant to all conditions set forth in this prospectus.
