What’s working well – keep

Appreciates-structure, clarity, self-disclosure example was helpful. More of that would be helpdful. Likes
breakout groups after counseling sessions to get feedback from each other and from teacher.

Appreciate the way S and M lead the class. Very skillful.

Second vote for self-disclosure example. Felt relieved. Was useful to have that type of experience
validated.

Appreciate balance of readings, lecture ,and practice. Lecture is additional to readings. Practice being

Instructors visiting sessions and providing feedback was helpful

Demonstration of the session was helpful at the beginning.

What isn’t working well

Doesn’t relate to Buddhist terminology and can’t relate to meditations with terms like stone in the
water, etc. Feels one sided in terms of philosophy.

Counseling session instructions were not very clear – felt abrupt.

Multi cultural facet seems missing.

Would like to hear more cultural and indigenous perspectives, to balance white male perspective with
more feminist and shamanic beliefs

Would prefer more time with lecture and its connection to the readings. No opportunity to take notes.

Would love to hear Malachi’s meditations more.

Would like to hear more ancient teachings like Vedic, Mayan, more integration of east west earth
world .

More contextual death and dying, life transitions, specific areas that people
