Such survey and settlement are conducted on plane-table survey work by conventional methods using Gunter's chain. ‘Whereas, with the development of science and technology, surveying techniques has been undergone fa sea-change from the conventional survey to modem survey by using Differential Global Po: System (DGPS), Electronic Total System (ETS) and High Resolution Satellite Imaginaries (HRSD) Whereas, skilled manpower is essential for development of Geographical Information System (GIS), integration of textual data (RoR) with spatial data (map) and updation of digitized maps. In view of above, the Governor is pleased to create 1145 ( One thousand one hundred and forty five only) post of sub-surveyor in the Pay Level-7 by declaring cadre of Amin as dying cadre with division of total cadre in the following manner i, 24 Big Blocks & Town Survey Unit- 24x3 n ii, 325 Smaller Blocks 325x2 650 ili, Sub-Division 9x4 216 iv.
